Yoga means union and refers to the joining of our ordinary awareness to our higher consciousness, the inner Self.

Yoga is more than freeing the body. It is opening the heart, mind and spirit. It is the process of re-identification and realization.

The quality of this state of being is classically defined as "satchitananda" - being, consciousness and bliss.

As we identify with this inner state, all sense of anxiety and separation fall away.

Hatha (sun-moon) classically used as a means to cleanse, purify and prepare the mind and body for higher spiritual disciplines.

Start the Journey with your own body and learn fresh ways to move, relax, and breathe. I welcome students of all ages, backgrounds and levels of expertise to take part in my therapeutic yoga classes.
